Series for Lent 2021 – Needy

Mondays at 7:30pm on Zoom
Resuming Feb. 22 (after school vacation week)

We’re already giving up a lot with the pandemic. Give God some time and join us to grow in your faith! Mixing fun, music, discussion, and prayer, Teen Reflection Nights are practical applications of our faith!

If we have learned anything in the past year, it is that we cannot control everything in life. We are not independent, and we have needs that are outside ourselves. We often busy ourselves and fill our life with more stuff (money, technology, people, etc.) to feel like we are in complete control, yet are still missing something.

We need God – the One who truly is in complete control – and we are not God. To grow in a relationship with God and others requires that we accept the reality of being needy, and how our needs may be met by God and others.

What are the Teen Reflection Nights?

Teens gather with Billerica Catholic to be community and grow closer to God. These are not classes, this is time for fun, music, discussions and prayer. We want to provide opportunities beyond formal religious education for spiritual nourishment, community, and discipleship.

Tony Carbrello and Dustin Batista offer the Teen Reflection Nights to enrich the teens in our community, to prepare a community of teen disciples for whatever the future is bringing us – as the new parish of St. Matthew the Evangelist.
